    Welcome to our energy-saving office

2014-12-08 | The main reason for moving our office was to have more space in order to be prepared for our future growth in team members, and to have a more representative and organized office space, especially when customers are visiting. However, when searching for a new place, we made sure that the building is more “earthquake safe”, due to the frequent quakes here in Japan, last but not least:  that the new building is “greener” than the old one.  more…

  • Finland

    Berry hungry

2014-10-20 | Most people would say they love nature. But most people in the western hemisphere spend only a tiny fraction of their leisure time amidst blades of grass, twigs and bushes. This is exactly why the ebm-papst Finland team decided to roam hedges and heather together, trying to spot all the precious little things nature so generously offers. Finland is blessed with an abundance of wild berries: In the bushes and behind boulders, their bright colours give them away – mountain cranberry, sallow thorn, cloudberry and many more. Industriously, the ebm-papst team picked them all, learnt where to find them and what they are called – a botanical crash course! more…

The sessile-fruited oak is the Tree of the Year 2014 and is also called Nature’s Sanctuary, as it shelters and houses more than 50 different kinds of insects. The two young oaks are a symbol of the educational and learning partnership between the Verbundschule and the ebm-papst plant in Herbolzheim. more…
