Environmental awareness in everyday life is just as important to ebm-papst as the energy efficiency of our products, processes and productions. This is what we stand for with our „GreenTech“ label. With the „Every Day is a GreenDay“ campaign, first launched in 2012 and initiated by trainees, we are spreading this philosophy around the entire world.
On 5 June 2016, The UN World Environment Day, the GreenDay enters its fifth round. Our global subsidiaries will present their green ideas with the slogan “Every day is a GreenDay”. And even after the actual campaign day is over, there is still more to come. Our subsidiaries around the world will keep on acting in a sustainable way throughout the year – supporting, for instance, social projects or saving electricity.
ebm-papst is the leading manufacturer of fans and motors worldwide and a pacesetter in the areas of sustainability, energy efficiency and environmental protection. Each new product we develop has to be better than the last one in terms of economy and ecology. This is a philosophy shaped by our founder over 50 years ago. Today, our fans and motors are achieving very high efficiency rates and therefore guarantee the highest possibly energy savings. Environmentally-friendly materials and procedures are used as early as the conception phase, and our production processes are also carried out with the help of green technology.
